Boothbay Region Land Trust - bluestone memorial and granite bench

There probably wouldn’t be a Norton Stoneworks if it wasn’t for Cathy Conn. She gave me my first chance at some sizeable stone projects when I was first starting out. I’m still grateful for the opportunity. It’s a great pleasure whenever we get to team up for new projects.

Cathy designed this stone memorial and bench at the headquarters of the Boothbay Region Land Trust in Boothbay. Over time, members will have the names of loved ones engraved in the bluestone slabs. The reclaimed granite bench has views across an apple orchard to a distant cove.
