Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens asked us to collaborate with Prospect Design again to create a stone sitting area on Backwoods Trail. 

To relate to an earlier project at The Gardens, we sourced the same reclaimed granite bridge-block we used to build the stone pillars at the entrance to Backwoods Trails. After they were sliced thin, fabricated them into a stone circle that resembles a millstone. 

The small standing stones relate to the stone circle in our Fairy House Village installation at the bottom of Backwoods Trail.
