10x10 Art Exhibit with ArtVan

Earlier this year I took part in an exhibit put on by ArtVan.

ArtVan is a “mobile art therapy nonprofit organization, serving under-resourced youth in the communities where they live.” For more on ArtVan and the amazing work they’re doing for kids and their communities, go here.

For the exhibit, each artist was given one of four themes and asked to create a 10”x10” piece to be hung at the Fort Andros Mill in Brunswick, ME.

For my assigned theme, “Emerge,” I played with the idea of form emerging from the formless.

At the end of the exhibit I took part in an artist talk. It didn’t go quite like I thought it would. Read more about that here.
