Have you ever looked at something for so long that you can’t see it anymore? Not objectively, anyway.
I often feel that way about stone walls.
I didn’t set out for the stone to be so coursed. I didn’t intend for it not to be, either. Muscle memory took over.
Without the ribs of the frame, the coursed stone can trick your eye into seeing a flat wall instead of a curved form.
